Hi All,
I’m just wandering if there’s still anyone awaiting cert from any of the Dec ceremony? Looks like I’m the only one without a cert at this stage.

Hi, Have you got your certificate by now ? I remember you were on the same ceremony as me 19th Dec 10.30 am ? I got mine around 10 days ago.
Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe
Hi, Still no luck, hence am very sure something is wrong somewhere, I have reached out to my TD some days ago, and on Wednesday he confirmed to have emailed the citizenship department, so I’m hoping they come back to my TD soonest. My IRP card expires in May, my employer is concerned, I also have a trip booked for June. I’m just left in limbo and extremely tired and exhausted! If anyone has further suggestions on how to get the citizenship department’s attention please share.Waitingforcert wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 3:14 pmHi, Have you got your certificate by now ? The think the TD is your best route right now and hopefully they receive an answer this week. Every time I requested a TD make a query on my behalf (and they did several times) an answer was always received rather promptly.Meed2509 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 5:13 pmHi, Still no luck, hence am very sure something is wrong somewhere, I have reached out to my TD some days ago, and on Wednesday he confirmed to have emailed the citizenship department, so I’m hoping they come back to my TD soonest. It’s unacceptable for this department to take several months to issue these certificates and in your case it’s now three! It’s even more stressful given your IRP card expiration and upcoming travel as it will still take a month or more to obtain a passport. The fact that they often refuse to respond to us as customers in this process is probably the more infuriating aspect. I’m really sorry.
Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe
Hi, Any luck? Did you receive Cert yet?
Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe
For the trip, as a last resort, you can show up to ISD's Burgh Quay and demand a visa (see post2044798.html#p2044798 ), but that's an emergency backup, so to say - hopefully you get your cert before that.Meed2509 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 5:13 pmHi, Still no luck, hence am very sure something is wrong somewhere, I have reached out to my TD some days ago, and on Wednesday he confirmed to have emailed the citizenship department, so I’m hoping they come back to my TD soonest. Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe
I contacted TD two weeks ago and last week got reply. The TD told me the email says if you attended the ceremony your certificate will be issued in due course. Also, if your IRP expires soon you dont need to renew it. My TD said if they dont send the certificate in two weeks contact us again. I am now waiting for another two weeks.

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe
For those of us that attended the February 26th ceremony in Dublin, I received the following information which is not incredibly helpful but still better than nothing:
Following the ceremonies held in the National Concert Hall on Monday 26th February , Citizenship staff are now back in the office and busy finalising applications and printing the appropriate certificates. It is expected certificates will start to issue within the coming weeks. Unfortunately it is not possible to give a more precise timeframe but be assured this work is being prioritised.

I should have added that I understand the term issued to them means printed. It's then usually another few weeks before they are posted out. This process is so infuriating.sairsint wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 10:45 am For those of us that attended the February 26th ceremony in Dublin, I received the following information which is not incredibly helpful but still better than nothing:

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe
Hi All,
Today I received an email twice from Team1&3 citizenship department, I’m guessing this happened because they received my registered post this morning with a proof of my employer been concerned about my current status.
Unfortunately, I had missed the post since 27 Feb, and my postman never left a note or try to re-deliver. The emails from the citizenship Team this morning states that my envelop was returned to their office on 19th March by anpost as ‘not called for’, and they asked me to reconfirm my address so this can be resent. Hence, I requested they share the new tracking number once it’s reposted, after couple of hours I got the new tracking number in email. Now I can track the envelope without missing anything.
Note: My TD got the usual generic email, I guess the letter I sent to them really helped in this case.

Finally got Cert today, postman unable to explain why he didn’t leave a note after he missed me back in Feb 27th. Well better late than never!

Hello,
Anyone that attended the February 26th ceremony in Dublin received his or her certificate, is almost a month ?

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe
As it was a rather small ceremony (~1,200 attendees) so I would hope they start showing up within the next week or two. I recall the ceremony in October (which was about ~2,700 attendees) started showing up after about 4 - 5 weeks.
December was over 6,000 attendees and consisted of several ceremonies over two days, so I believe that is why it took several months for them to be issued.

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe
I'm wondering the same here. If the timeline is anything like December's ceremony, I'd say the certs will start to arrive in May.
Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe
Have you reached out to them to see if it’s been issued? Perhaps it’s stuck in the post like what happened to the other individual here.gaamaganiwala wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 5:08 pm I attended December 18th and still waiting for the certificate.

Hi, Write a letter to the citizenship office addressing it to ‘Team1 Naturalisation certificate’, Once they receive the letter, someone will come back to you on email to confirm if your certificate is issued already or not.

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe
Hi I already sent them email and they did not reply to me. Then went to TD and they replied wait, if you attended December ceremony your certificate will be issued soon. I don't know what they mean by "if"?
Its more than 3 weeks since then and i have no update? I think i am the only person left behind from that ceremony. I do not know what is the other option?

Re: Naturalisation certificate post ceremony timeframe
Believe it or not, I was not getting any responses when I recently emailed citzenshipinfo@justice.ie as I had previously. I then added the address customersupport@citizenship.cloud.gov.ie to my next email and immediately received a response from Team 1.gaamaganiwala wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 3:57 pm Hi I already sent them email and they did not reply to me. That said, I previously received a response from that second 'cloud' email account when I emailed the first one, so it could have tied my recent email to and older ticket, but it's worth a try.
