Naturalization fees

Hi. I applied for Irish citizenship for my son, before his 18th birthday. We are waiting for an approval since 6 months. In the meantime he became 18. Will they charge an adult fee or child fee in this situation? There is a big difference between 250 and 900 euros. Did anybody have the same situation? Can somebody let me know, please. Thank you.
