I would if really thought anyone cared. We are immigrants, nobody cares what happens to us. They treat us anyway they like and nothing happens. Case in point, they doubled IRP fees and reduced the level of service, do you think they would have gotten away with doing that to Irish or EU citizens?

Well idk about that. There are hundreds outside of Dublin that didn't get a renewal appointment yet. And if they also loose their jobs that's less money for the Irish economy that has been hit by the pandemic already. So it's not the right time for them, even if they doubled some irp charges.

@lucidj, @Wow90 I am in the same boat as you guys. Sent mine and my brother's in on the 22nd, delivered on the 23rd of July and not a single word. Mine expires on the 23rd of August and work has been on to me with warnings! i guess the only positive is knowing you aren't the only one facing the issue so it might be bulk resolved soon.

I am the same. Mine expires the 25th and I don't want to loose my jobs cause of this. They should just extend it for at least another month if they are gonna take this long.

Yes I emailed them twice, no answer ever

I have submitted my IRP for Stamp 4 renewal on 20th July. Haven't heard anything from them yet. Will keep posted here if situation changes.

Is there anyway we can apply for the renewal for IRP more than one month prior to the expiry of the current one?
The online renewal system wouldn't let me proceed to the submission page
'' Your expiry date should be no more than one month from today's date.''

Good temporary news everyone. They renewed the permits again for one month.

I hope this helps in the future to make everything online and better. Even a stamp on the passport is not necessary. But good temporary news for now. We don't loose our jobs this month.

I submitted my stamp 4 Renewal application online,and paid 300€ online,but my application still showing in draft, and I also posted my GNIB and passport, which showed delivered when I tracked it, but I didn't know I have to receive communication email before posting my passport and GNIB, my permit expired at the end of this month,any ideas what is going on

I renew my Stamp 4 online on 24 July, paid Euro300 and got confirmation email, and pot my passport back to them and received by them on 28 July as shown by An Post tracking.

However, I haven't heard anything back from them since then, I have email them (burghquayregoffice@justice.ie) several times and never heard anything back from them.

Anyone in the same situation as mine?

I've applied on August 10th and still haven't heard anything back.

Am I the only one having problems on the INIS online application? It only stays blanc when I go to registration renewal and I don’t know how to proceed from there.
My IRP expires on 21st September and I dont know what to do and I am also currently abroad coming back this weekend.

I applied online on 26th July, sent documents on 27th July, ISD received it on 28th July.

What are you renewing Stamp 1G, 1 ?

You might want to try the following :

1. Check that you have completed every mandatory field on the form and have uploaded the required documents. These will be marked with a red asterisk next to them, or a red box surrounding them. Your form will not submit until you have entered all required information.

2. Contact details of departments (Stamp 1G - unit1residencedivision@justice.ie, Stamp 1 - burghquayregoffice@justice.ie).

3. Send an email to your relevant department :

When sending information about a technical issue you are experiencing :

- send the details in by email;
- include ‘online form – issue’ in the subject line of your email;
- include a much information as you can about the behaviour you are experiencing; and
- where possible to include screenshots of this.
