Its been over a month since I have seen completed notification on 30/04/19. Seriously it's driving me nut now. I emailed them couple of times but no specific answer as to why I am still waiting to receive the letter. They never asked me for additional documents either.
When you're saying they gave you no specific answer, what exactly did they tell you?

I am waiting 6 working days after it was changed to completed. When I emailed them they just asked me to confirm my address.
Hi they just told me

Dear Sir/ Madam

I wish to acknowledge receipt of your email re: Re: INIS Online -
Application number XXXXXXX
That's extremely depressing, I hope they stop this practice. Have you tried asking your TD to contact them for you ?

Lynx14,

Do you have any other residency application pending in INIS before you applied for Student Scheme or you are just waiting for Student Scheme application ?

I have a valid 1G permission expiring soon. Student scheme is the only application I made. Why are you asking ?

So my letter is lost. INIS gave me 2 different dates on which my letter was sent, which doesn't make sense. I already told them I haven't received it. They take 1-2 days to reply to your email. It's a very slow and inefficient process.

It is inefficient and probably automated as well. No human involvement at all in my case, I have emailed them 4 time and received the same answer * chronologicall order* that's it. But I am surprised in your case they even provided you with dates. Shocking for me as it seems. They are playing games ???

They brushed me off as well all the time with chronological order stuff. I try to be as clear and respectful as I can be. So once I explained that my application is completed and I haven't received the letter, they started replying. Problem is they check email once a day and may take more than a day to reply.

Because I applied with expired passport so first they ask for passport on November.
And then on March they asked for “ to prove
Continuing residency during 15, 16, 17.

When did u applied. Did u get anything yet.

To be honest if your application is still in submitted section, there is no point in emailing them. They will just give you generic response.

I was never asked for additional information, probably because I included absolutely everything I could in the application. I applied on 19th of December

Thank you for the support guys. I will keep you posted.

Guy's.. do you have any idea (Even from solicitor view) that if the Department not considering change of stumps student under this scheme then how they get their permission back?
Even those student were here legally in between the year 2005-2010!!
Mar_ir,

The last option is humanitarian application and it takes 2-3 years at least. There is no such policy to conclude such application within time frame. Its totally Minister discretion. Its bitter truth my friend.
Any chances to get any positive out come from section-4 before this time frame?
I saw a letter issued to a friend which refused section 4 application. This person had arrived between 2005-2010 and had changed his stamp to 4EUFAM and later the stamp had been revoked (marriage was considered to be bad quality). He applied on student scheme as well as section 4 (while stamp 4EUFAM was still valid). The section 4 application was refused and the refusal letter said that basically you need to be on a valid visa to be considered for section 4 application and since your permission had been revoked your last permission had expired in 2012 (his last student permission).

They also quoted the decisions of his EUTR application refusal letter and strangely the letter had said his marriage was bad quality and hence stamp 4 EU FAM is being revoked but *Your section 4 application remains unaffected by the above decision to revoke your permission*. Yet the section 4 application was refused based on his EUTR refusal.

At the last paragraph the letter said we are aware you have applied the student scheme 2005-2010 so we will forward all your files to that section.
