Not at all they said make a payment for 950 without mentioning the ceremony. And they gave no timeframe also

I applied August 2017, second letter arrived last month, approval dated 2nd May 2018 requesting 950. I would submit the fee and hope I’m included In this ceremony. If not I’m happy to wait for another.

i have registered on august 2017 and got the approval letter on April 17th
sent the fees, GNIB card and Photos on 18th of April and yet no invitation Letter .

I dont know if there is still time to get one, but i know i will need them to send my GNIB back to renew if am not included on May Ceremony

i wouldn't complain you got approval that many people wish to have at least and this year for sure you will be irish. I can see from you timeline you were one of the last wave of approval.

I'm not complaining. I do have holidays booked and my passport is out of date, i was just hoping to be able to get an Irish passport in May so i don't have to travel back to my home country for a renewal. That's all.

I got my approval letter 14th april dated 12th april. They said that i needed to send the 950 euro and pics within 10 days to be considered for next ceremony. I did but still havent recieved a invitation.

Received my invite - dated 2nd May. 14:35 registration slot.

Will be travelling up from Dublin, thinking the 9am train. Hoping that will be able to make the 17:39 train home!

When you sent off the 950euro and pics, did u get a confirmation they recieved it as ive heard nothinf and worried they didnt get it. I got my letter on 14th april and sent off the draft and 2 pixs but not heard anything since no invite or nothing ans to be honest ita prob a bit late for me to book it off work and also to organise trains and hotel as i have to come from belfast

Approval letter on late March. Myself i did send them an email and they confirmed they had received 950euro and pics, and they said i was included in the 21st ceremony but still have not got the invitation letter, now they are asking for GNIB which i dont have (from Northern ireland).

you dont have GNIB so take a scan of UK residence card and mail to them quickly by e-mail and post whatever they take first . with a really good explanation that you can't surrender yours because you are in the ireland republic

The only reason i no that im invited to this cermoney in may is becos i emailed them to make sure they got my draft and pics, other wise i wouldnt no becos ive not recieved an invitation.

But maybe sound crazy but im actually going to decline the invitation to this one and ask to be invited to next one, they have really left it so late ( especially with not even getting an invitation yet) to expect me to get time off work to organise to get from belfast to killarney and to organise a hotel and also child care.

If i had of recieved an invite maybe last week it would have been possible.

So me and my wife habe decided im accepted there is no real hurry now and we can wait to the next one and make a weekend off it since it is a good bit to travel from belfast.

i know its a big deal but its ok you can come alone you wont be the only lonely guy

You can decide and also you dont have to spent the night there , you can sleep in dublin for exemple

You can not decide in which ceremony you will get into , so you will again have to hope you get invited for next one its up to you .

I feel your pain. I'm only starting a new job next week and I already had to ask them for a day off.

Brocli sorry but which part of my message did i say i was taking my whole family. Its my wife so not exactly my whole family.

Im also not picking what cermoney i attend i actually still havent recieved my invite so nothing still confirmed in writing to me, so very short notice to be trying to organise somthing, especially when you are coming from belfast. If i had of been living closer then thats a different matter.

Sometimes people unfortunately are not able to attend the cermoney due to a number of different reason. I dont think im the 1st or will be the last to say hey sorry i cant make that one. I will email them to advise them of then and kindly request the next one, maybe then i might get my invite more than a couple of days before the actually cermony

Just got my invite today to attend 14:35PM ceremony and coming all the way from Northern irleand

Got my invite on May 9th dated May 8th @ 12:20 Anyone knows if cermoney attendees invites list is already up or when it will be published? I have seen on previous posts they mentioned that list will be published 10 days before the ceremony date.
Also did anyone completed the survey which is up on the citizenship website?
