You're not considering the delays caused by High Court decision last year and COVID-19 this year and how severely the process was affected. I consider myself a majority and the application was completed within 12 months indicated by the Department. I am sure I'm not the only one who was approved from 2020. If my application was delayed for 2 years or more I certainly wouldn't be very happy about it. But it wouldn't make my life unbearable either. I would still have my family, my house, my job, and do the things I love to do. If you believe that your application was unfairly delayed, you still have an option of challenging this delay. Is it worth time, hassle, and very high costs without any guarantee that you will win the case? Not for me. I have better ways of spending thousands of euros. Best of luck to you.
Why do you get worked up when other people express their frustration over their own applications ? A bit odd isn't it for someone with rare luxuries like "a family a job and a house" to get worked up on an immigration forum where majority of people will post because their applications didn't get processed the way they expected. "survivorship bias" it is called. Survivors here on this forum will most likely have something they aren't happy about.

Out of curiosity do you turn up to random funerals too and tell the weeping widow that there is no point in crying, death is just a part of life and before you know it it will be her ? we just don't do that do we ?
As I said before in this Thread, please open a 'Frustration' topic on the forum and post it there. This Thread is about "Next ceremony". A lot of people are keeping an eye on this thread for relevant updates. If you are frustrated please either talk to someone or open a new thread rather than spamming a relevant thread.

I suggest this thread to be locked until some people either learn the rules or just get over their frustration that I got an approval before them. I feel your pain, but your accusations and jealousy will continue to go to the bin.

Man that what Vorona does to my thread ireland/will-citizenship-application-be ... n#p1977331

She got it locked, don't mind her, she is just feisty to anyone who disagrees her opinion, really.

I have seen same thing happening to many threads she replies... really no sympathy to other people's situation, and laughing at you at the end if you go against her... been in this forum few years, never saw someone like her.

Unlike some indifferent people there is a need to highlight and identify there is an issue. Being a constructive resident and soon to be citizen it is a responsibility to identify issues rather than being a bystander or trying to add spins.

Its a discussion forum for Next ceremony, approvals and related discussion.

If you can't stand it, take a hike but stay within 5 KM range.

All
You can indeed express your frustration and opinions regarding application timelines etc. in the immigration forum.
The only point is that this topic, as per its name, is about Next ceremony timeline. People whose applications were already approved check this topic for updates on the next ceremony.
By scrolling through many irrelevant posts (to this topic, but certainly relevant to the forum), they do waste time.
All what everyone on this topic is asking is to discuss your application timelines and issues on the relevant topics on this forum instead. For example ireland/2020-citizenship-applications-t ... 95667.html
Best of luck for everyone and hope all will get their approval asap

I think we can all agree that this thread needs to be closed now. A proper new thread can always be created when we have more details for the next ceremony.
