Outside of ireland

Post by zaza7625 » Fri Jan 18, 2019 4:00 pm

Hi all.
I am of my hollydays almost 2 weeks this year.
I have my 5 years residence for applying citizenship. As i know if someone stays more than 6 weeks outside of state, he or she has a problems for applying. What happens in my case? I had my prevous 3 weeks hollydays last august. Inis says that person has to be residing continousley prior to applying. Please share your opinions.

Thanks

As you already pointed out, if you are out of country for more than 6 weeks, you might be in trouble (you will need to explain this in your application).

But if you have 5 weeks in total this year, it's not a problem.
