Yeah 6 weeks it s quite of a scandal though, we submitted the application on the 30th of July, received on the 31st. Then Monday the 3rd was a bank holiday. I don t expect to hear anything before the end of next week.

This is for a temporary stamp after submitting the application for permanent residence card (after 5 years stamp 4 eu fam)

We would like to go for a trip at the end of September, but even if we get the passport back on time my guess is they ll stamp it with a stamp 4 only, not eu fam, hence no trips allowed 🤦

Ah, and it is nearly 6 months we have submitted the permanent residence application and still no words from Eu Treaty rights.... although these guys have been much more responsive than general immigration so far
Don't just give in!! why not schedule appointments for a visa. You would more than likely get it as a family member of an Eu citizen and wont cost you anything. Schedule one ASAP

I will say next week is the best case, as I assume there is a significant increase in the application for the first week after they opened their online renewal (from 20 to 24 July), it will take a while for them to go through all of them.

@Wow90,
Registration /INIS has received my passport, confirmation letter and etc on 28 July but i haven't heard anything back from them since them.

I have email them several times but not getting any response (burghquayregoffice@justice.ie). You said they did respond back to you and mentioned they are processing the application from 28 July this week? Which email address you use to contact them?

I don't think it was shared in this thread update from INIS for processing times

Notice 1 | Processing times of applications
07 September 2020
Due to a sharp increase in the number of applications for on-line registration, the current expected processing time is 25 to 30 working days from the date of receipt.

Yeah. That seems to be related to first registrations cause otherwise they would have used the word renewal.

Who knows... No news still for you my friend?

Hi, have you received your passport yet ? The reason I am asking is I just checked the tracking in Anpost (2 days after I received email from INIS) and below is what I am getting:
"Tracking Results
We have not scanned your post yet. Tracking is updated regularly during the day, please check again later."

Its completely normal, I received email of processing completion on 9th Sep, and received my passport yesterday (15th Sep around 15:30), for the next 3-4 days or so it will keep on showing that, I just happened to have checked AnPost yesterday morning showing its ready to be delivered in the evening.

I received it yesterday. Someone said in this forum that they are prepaid labels and they only show updated information when it's at their last facility for delivery.

Thanks a million for sharing the experience. :)
I received it yesterday. Someone said in this forum that they are prepaid labels and they only show updated information when it's at their last facility for delivery.
You mean you have received your passport or just seeing your tracking in the system by Wednesday ?
I still haven't see anything in An Post tracking for my passport even I received email from INIS on Monday noon time. :?

My Stamp 4 renewal application was submitted July 28.
Still waiting, tried emailing them but got nothing back.
It's a long time to be separated from my passport.
