My Solicitor said We need to wait until they not reply, EUTR has Close my Application and Transfer to IBC Section

Good thing is that at least EUTR closed your file.if you get any replay from IBC please let us know

Yes, But I don’t think they will reply soon now, as you told they took 22 months for your friend.

Wait for couple of month if there no replay from them then can ask your solicitor to get an update from IBC.as from your next update you can understand what they going to do

@mark_ir No any updates, Very Slow Processing time, Must be they exciting for X-Mas but they do not pay attention to families who suffering because of their poor timeframes.

Yes,They are slow enough.
Did your solicitor say about you child citizenship.can department revoke it?
As you know that is our only hope..

@mark_ir There is No Law for revoke IBC revoke citizenship. Its not from naturalisation its by birth.

I know but one of my friend got letter last week that his son is not entitle for irish passport as his eu wife left ireland 2015 and child born in 2017.
Now they want to cancel it anyway.
That is why i am asking you about your solicitor opinion.

@mark_ir They want to but its not easy for them. The child will go Stateless. Is child can hold Dual citizenship? All the facts count.. Do they have Solicitors . And are they going to Challenge in High court? Can you get more info please.

Child have no other citizenship.
Yes,They have a solicitor.but family are felling very much afraid.
Did you hear anything like this?
I tried to google it if i find something unfortunately couldn't get anything regarding child passport revocation.if you know something please let me know.

mark_ir I ask few solicitors and they gave me this info. If they still said revoke child citizenship then JR is option. Are they able to contact me, I do not know how to share personal info on this forum?

What is others solicitor opinion,how they go for JR.can they really revoke revoke child citizenship??

Newstylee@yes,i got your pm.
My friend contacted with solicitor and he suggested him to go high court.but big problem is that his solicitor said high court including barrister fee would be almost over 6k for both case.he cannot afford this cost at present so do not know what to do.
Do you have any idea about court preceding and barrister fee.
I think he just got stuck that is why his solicitor asking too much.

@mark_ir I do not have any idea about court proceedings. Why it is two cases as you mentioned. 6k is big amount and his solicitor is not doing installments ? And what barrister told about chances of winning of case and duration?

Newstylee@His solicitor asked him to pay 3k in advance.when his barrister start dealing with court then he has need to pay other 3k.chances is 50/50.
But cost for court proceeding shouldn't be that high.
