Those who were asked to submit a police check from Canada, did you get your certificate authenticated and legalised? Please help.

Posting an update in case anyone wonders the same: no, you don't need either authentication or legalisation, and it saves you quite a bit of money. Source: called INIS helpline, whoever answered the phone said so.
