Re-Entry visa in case of residence denied?

Hi All,

We are still awaiting decision in our case, however, expecting a rejection of our EU1 application, we would like to know if there are any other persons who have tried to het a reentry visa for Ireland (after having been rejected)... and how this would work.

We currently have an (expired and legally overstayed) Spousal Visa / D Visa, and no registration yet.
