References living abroad

Hello folks,

Regarding Section 14: References, is its acceptable to be completed by an Irish reference who lives abroad, and has printed, filled in their details, then scanned in and returned to me?

You'd better ask them: citizenshipinfo@justice.ie. I doubt they would like a scanned copy. It might raise questions on their part.
