Refugee application decision

Hello guys. I got my IPO decision after three years. The decision was negative however the decision letter recognizes that I already have a permission to stay in the state based on my marriage to an Irish National. My lawyer said I could either appeal or do nothing and I will do nothing since I need my passport back. Now, does anyone know how long do they take to give back the applicants passport once the process is over?
