Things to do after receiving spousal work permit in dublin

Post by swapnasetty » Tue Oct 09, 2007 10:57 am

Hello Everyone,

I came to Dublin in the month of May with my husband and secured job in one of the IT company in Dublin.
After long waiting for spousal work permit, I have received it now.
first step is to change GNIB card. what are the other steps?
do we have to change anything in passport, if yes then where to do the same?

Thanks,
Swapna.

Take your passport and GNIB card along with the letter from the Department of Trade. They will issue you a new stamp and GNIB card. Just out of curiosity, is your spouse a E.U national or a third country national and how long did it take for the letter of approval from the dept.of trade?
