Thanks alot Yeap it's eu fam I suppose I was a tad nervous because it's his first time flyin since 4 years. If you are in a registered partnership and your partner is joining or accompanying you and has EU fam he or she will be fine.
The Irish Residence card now states clearly the it is a Residence card for family members of EEA national.
