The latest update post about citizenship ceremony on 19th and 20th June also says that the certificates will be sent by post afterwards.

To be honest, joining to citizenship ceremony with no cert was kind of pointless to me

Agreed. I do understand the significance of it, but if there's no certificate at the end and you travel across the country just to verbally say the declaration, it's a bit of an overkill.

It was mentioned in FBR thread there's a backlog for FBR certificate printing - maybe they just can't print all necessary certificates in time here as well?

If you can give the timelines, that'll be immense help for June approvals, since they'll be getting their certs by post as well. This ceremony sounds like a trial run of some sort.

I read in a fb group that they will send it in 2 weeks and I believe it's a recent answer. So let's say around mid April

Following your participation in the ceremony and your swearing of the oath of fidelity you will be an Irish Citizen. Your certificate of naturalisation will be sent to you via registered post within a couple of weeks.
This paragraph is copied from the invitation email, assuming they started to send them out this week up the email description, hopefully we receive it this week before the weekend.

They are sending in batches so it might take some more time. I didn't get mine either.

Do you remember how many weeks you had to wait after 950 submission? I mean on the website once you submit a form it sits in forms submitted and than in a few weeks it moves to completed? Do you remember how long it took to process your form? I am not asking for ceremony invite.

Thanks

Approved was middle of Dec, paid 2 days after, 6th Jan payment accepted, 2nd March invite to ceremony on 10th March.
Between payment accepted and invite it could take 3-6 months minimum depends on their workload and ceremony dates, no one guarantees you can be invited to next one after payment

Thankyou.
This seems quick.
The form was submitted on monday and its still not moved to completed by inisonline.

The reason i was asking this question was because i don't think my photo will qualify for completion as dimensions are not the same. They may ask to resubmit the photo and i wasnt sure how long they need to process the application form. I hope they dont take 8 to 10 weeks as the upcoming ceremony is in June, i dont want to loose a potential invitation just because of a stupid mistake that i made in the Citizenship application payment form.

By the way i received acknowledgement soon after i submitted the application form its just the completion time i was looking for

send them an email and ask. Put your application number to subject and put a title like: question about photo specs. And ask if photo is good enough or should you provide a new one.
