what happens next

hello all

good news, he got his visa last week and will be arriving here thursday :)

next question now is as i am a EU Passport holder and he is pakistani passport holder what is the next step. he has been granted a six month multiple visa.

anyone know what the timeline for a citizenship process is and when best to apply for this. does he have to wait for PPS no etc, or can he apply immediately, what about GNIB card i hear he needs to get all that organised.

citizenship is not a gift.you arrive to country your elible for this.your husband have to resident legally in ireland for atleast 5 years than he may be elible for to apply it. www.inis.gov.ie

he have to living here 5 years with you if you hold the eu passport. all the details are here www.inis.gov.ie
