Irish Cit+ Non-EU citizen, Married in Eu(Advice needed)

Post by derpy2000 » Mon Oct 26, 2015 11:04 pm

Hi All,

I've a query, I am planning to get married soon( Start of next year) to my Fiancée in Denmark. I'm Irish(working in Dublin now) and she's Korean. Immediately after that, she will join me in Ireland. We've decided to tie the knot and are both really excited to start out life together :D

I've been looking into this and from what I understand; All we have to do is bring our marriage certificate when we arrive together in Ireland and She will be given a long stay visa on Arrival. After that, she needs to register for long term residency at our local Gardai station.

Have I missed anything? Can someone offer me clarification?

Many Thanks,
Turd Ferguson
