N.irish planning to marry a non EU in Drogheda

Ok, I love my G/F very much. We have planned to get married in Jan but her student visa runs out at the start of Dec. We don't want to have to fork out the cash for another year or two of study just for a visa. Does anyone know if the Immigration offices can grant short term visas to get married etc???
