irish work permit for an asylim seeker

Hi, i am currently an asylim seeker in Ireland. Still awaiting for a final decision.

Meanwhile i have heard that if i stop my case (but still will be in the country), my potential employeer (if i find smb) can apply for my working visa.

Is this true and how it works at all.
