I applied my VISA last march.. thought it was not Tier 4, i extened in General Student..But i received ID card insteasd of VISA on my Passport..

Now i have to apply again for VISA..

Now what is my Status ?? Student General or Tier 4 ??

My id card states Student.. but my college states that as its ID card its Tier 4..

Please just guide me in this..

I dont' understand why you have to apply for a visa again. The whole point of the ID card is to replace the vignette in the passport.

What do you mean when you say "i extended in General student"?

Did you get admission in a new course with the same / different education provider and applied for further leave to remain? Or did you apply for further leave to remain because you couldn't finish the course in stipulated time frame or because your visa was to run out before the course was to finish?
