Italian work permit for non EU Citizen

I am British national and I plan to settle in Italy soon and possibly start my own business.
I want to know what is the best way to obtain residence/working permit for my girlfriend (my future wife) who is from Russia and who will be working with me.

Sorry for posting the same question but I am hoping to get guidance in this matter.
I am sometimes wrong.
