Job offer and work permit

Hi!
I have gone through almot all part of this forum and found very much informative and helpful to people like me. I am a PhD in Organic Chemistry from India and have 3 yeras of post doctoral experience in USA with over 20 publications in Internatioal journal along with over all 1st class in all grade from begining of my education. Now I want to go to UK with either a post doc offer or job offer in Organic Cmemistry field. I have found that I have to have a work permit even if I just want to get a post doc offer in any University or institute in UK. I am not sure that I can get a work permit as I hard its easier to get a WP with a job offer. Is there anybody in or around this field and can help me to get somethig so that I can succeed in this process? Is there any Industry or employer who can offer me something sponsoring a work permit for me?

Almost all vacancy for Post doc jobs in the UK are posted here.
http://www.jobs.ac.uk/

If they offer you post doc job, it is quite easy for your prospective employers to apply for work permit for you.

You might qualify for HSMP. Why do not try it. With HSMP you do not need work permit to take job offer.
