Just for Fun: Decipher UKBA'S PBS Reference No:

Post by nnj10 » Fri Apr 03, 2009 9:41 pm

Hi All,

Does anyone know, what is the basis of a PBS Ref. No.?

Is it just a number in a series?
e.g. PBS Reference No: PB3333001234/001
I guess in the above number
1st Character, P = Point
2nd Character,B = Based
3rd to 6th Character, 3333 = No. in a series (Sr. no. in a way)

Any ideas, about the rest of characters?
