Kazakhstan citizen who wants to work in London

Hello everybody, my name is Dias and I'm just registered to the forum (I hope it's right section).

I'm a Kazakhstan citizen but I've been working in Italy for past 10 years. I'd like to move to London for working purpose so I was wondering if you can give me few essential information about VISA/work_permit because info I've found so far were very confusing (=too much info).

My country (Kazakhstan) has nothing to do with European_Economic_Area/Commonwealth countries (sadly for me) so things are a little complicated. For example, from my understanding I have to follow this steps in order to get a working VISA for UK and be able to go there:

1) I find a potential_employer/job
2) The employer request a work permit for me, and when he obtain it, he make me a contract
3) With a new contract I request my Working VISA
4) I'm going to London thanks to my VISA

Is it all right or due to my citizenship there are some other complications?
