Keeping the minimum amount in bank account

Could someone please tell from their experience or knowledge if we should keep the minimum amount in our account provided for HSMP visa even after we apply. Thanks

You can keep the maintenance funds in your account for precautions. Although when I applied for extension, I remove funds after my fee was dedecuted from my bank account.

This really helped as using common sense, they must check the account up to the date of the statement. Thanks
