Kids dependent visa: t2g vs t2ict

Hi
Please advise what is best thing to do in following situation:
Currently:
husband tier 2 ict main
wife tier 2 ict dependent
Son tier 2 ict dependent

Now wife getting tier 2 general & husband extending tier 2 ict i.e.
husband tier 2 ict main
wife tier 2 general main

In this situation shall we extend tier 2 ict dependent for child?
Pros:
- no NHS surcharge
- husband's firm sponsoring visa cost

Cons:
- tax on tier 2 ict dependent visa fees if provided by husband's firm as brnefit
- t2g better visa than t2ict not sure for dependent??
- t2g ILR possibility but not t2ICT. not sure how much beneficial for dependent??

Any other factor to consider?
