Kindly, Tier 1 (General) guidance needed

Post by Utopianff » Mon Mar 14, 2011 2:48 pm

Hello, I'm preparing the documents for my Tier 1 (General) and it seems that I will be needing a bit of help from experts in here.

At the moment, I'm looking at the section of "Invoices and or Payment Summaries" as supporting evidence. In this regard, I'm not too sure whether I should give out both "Invoices and Payment Summaries" to the home immigration office or only one of these.

If Yes, it would be appreciated if anyone can tell me what to include in the "Payment Summaries". If No, then kindly advice me on which one among these evidences is the best to submit.

Regards,

Show your invoices and bank statements to your accountant. He will be able to advise you which is most apt for your case.

And as per guidance, you only need to provide one not both.

Thanks Celtic. But, as far as I know, they request to have full contact details of the people whom I've worked for. Therefore, I'm wondering about where to put these details? Do I integrate them in the invoices? Or make a table of the individuals names, contact details, amount paid, type of payment?

An invoice should reflect the type of work you have done, how much you charged your client and any other details that make sense.

Yes invoices need to have the contact details of the client not necessarily of a person.

When I generated invoices, I only put the company name and the address + post code.

The most important bit you need to be aware of is that HO must be able to corroborate your earnings from two sources.

Also when you fill the form, you are asked to provide contact details of the companies you have worked for. There you can provide email address/phone number if you wish to.
