Q 8.8. In last two years sponsored some one....Visit visa

Post by bunty1 » Mon Mar 22, 2010 9:46 pm

What should I answer of the following question? Please advice me.

"8.8 In the last two years has the relative that you are staying with sponsored anyone else’s visit to the UK?"

I sponsored my parents and brother last year but their visa got refused, now i m applying again for my parents only.

Should I write under this question, the detail of parents and brother or not? But their visa was refused so infact they didn't come to UK.

Batleykhan or any other senior member please reply.

thank you very much.

Yes you should mention your brother's refusal. If you don't you risk a new refusal I'm afraid.

thanks UKBabble

but do we not need to write the detail of only those who go the visa? because there is no option to write either visa got or refused. just asked for the name, address and phone numbers.

if I am entering the detail then I will have to mention separately that visa was refused.

sorry if it is the silly question.

Perhaps the earlier visa refusal bit can be added in the "Additional Notes" section, at the end of the application form. That way, you've covered your bases.

Forget about detail but mention all visa you have sponsors.

you have to declare the refusal on this question and add the details in Additional page just like what rozen mentioned. this will ensure that you're been truthful as far as they are concerned.

thanks for your replies.

I will write the details and at the end of each person's detail will write the Refusal. I hope it will be ok.

it will also clear them that I didnt spend any thing on them as they actually couldnt come to UK.
