Lease Agreement

Hi,

I am planning to call my parents but i don't have lease agreement as it expired last month and i have reach agreement with my landlord who is fine to go month-to-month without lease paperwork .... his lease paper is anyways A4 plain paper ....

Now i m planning to call my parents .. is it ok to show Council tax? electricity bill? ....

Can someone tell me what will be strong evidence to show in terms of "accomodation"(family visitor visa) as my parents are going to say that there son will take care of accomodation when they in UK>

Utility bills are no proof of "accommodation" but usually used to prove "residential address". Council tax bill is generated in the beginning of the year for the whole year, therefore may not be sufficient to be used (independently) as evidence of accommodation being available during the course of the year.

Likewise, a rolling month-on-month tenancy agreement (aka Statutory Periodic Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement or Contractual Periodic Tenancy) can be terminated by you by giving a 1 month notice or by the landlord by giving you a 2 months notice. The onus is on you to convince the ECO that you have adequate arrangement in place to accommodate your parents during their visit to the UK.
