As you know my Fiance Jamalkhan got refused his Fiance visa around 2 months ago now we then put in an appeal and we got this letter today 6th Sept from the Deputy High Commision: PLease can you help me understand is this positive news that will he get the visa here is the letter :

Dear Applicant,

Your Application,

Your Application has been reviewed in the light of your appeal. Please Submoy your passport(s) to your local Gerry Fed Ex Courier Office who will forward it to the British Deputy High Commision for Final Processing

Entry Clearance Officer

Case Worker

Please can anyone tell me is this good news??? and why have they sent this now..

Who knows? but it does sound that way. My advise is always to call them if you are not sure (that is if you are able to).

Yes, this is good news.

This is the sort of letter they usually send out once the ECO has reversed his decision based on receiving the AIT2 and further evidence.

Don't pop the champagne just yet, but I would say that you should be okay. Get the passport to Gerry's ASAP.

Thanks for your reply my fiance is in Dubai at the mo on holiday he is now flying back to Pakistan on Satiurday and then will submit his passport on Monday morning God willing..

Also with this hinder the decision of the ECO if he has been in Dubai for over a month awaiting the Appeal Decision..?

I have another question if he does get his Visa God willing can we both go to Dubai for vacation or will he need to come to the UK first before he can go to Dubai when his visa God willing is given to him.
