HO letter(s) notifying immigration status

Hi
Thank you for reading my post.
I lost my passport in London 3 weeks ago. Now I am finishing TOC form to transfer the UK visa from the lost passport to my new one. However there is a problem with supporting documents. The UKBA needs a HO letter notifying my immigration status . I believe when I applied for my student visa and got accepted I was not received any letters from HO.
So my question is someone please tell me how I can get a HO letter notifying my immigration status? OR what should I do in this situation?
