Assuming you left the UK with a valid leave to remain and then returned within 180 days, that should be fine.
That should also be fine, so long as your total absence across all 10 years is less than 540 days.

This is mostly outside the scope of immigration advice here. There are many websites out there that offer mock tests or test preparations for LIUK. We cannot comment on which one is better. The advice over the years has been that doing some mock tests as well as studying the official book, should be more than enough to pass the test.
