Life in UK Test certificate validity

Post by pokes » Wed Sep 05, 2007 7:48 pm

Could anyone pl clarify how long is the Life in UK Test certificate valid?

My ILR is due in January 2008, and I am taking the test on 22 September. If I pass (Ihope so!), will the certificate be valid until January 2008?

Grateful for expert advice. Thanks.

The certificate does not have an expiry date, and will definately still be valid when you apply for ILR in Jan '08. So do not worry.

And when you do apply for ILR, they will return the pass certificates.

Presumably so you can use them again if you want to naturalise as British Citizen.

Hi All

It's been some time since I've been here but now that ILR application time is approaching I decided to get here for your help, you all lovely people ☺ I am just wondering if any of you have some recent experience in passing LITUK test. How did you find it (hard/ easy)? How did you study? What were the questions like?

Any advice/suggestion would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

First of all initially only focus on the official theory books and question & answer official practice book. Give special attention on history chapter which is bigger and little difficult than rests of chapters. Try to practice too on different websites or mobile applications after making sure that they are compatible to new version of test. I am sure if you study well the theory and then successfully solve all official book questions then you will find the actual test more easy. Many people find the test more easy and many people finish the test in 10-15 minutes and come out of the center with pass certificate :)
