Hi! I got the lancasterandcoull version(Valid for tests taken after April 2007) . In its study guide it says age for standing in public office is 18yo. It's CD rom exam is consistent with it. When I took the free online exam at the hiren site it is 21yo which prompted me to google search it- true enough the BBC site says it's 21. I contacted the book and CDrom publisher they said any changes in the law is not recognised in the exam. That confuses me now. As this is just a simple requirement and is quite a vital info (compared to all the percentages in the other chapters).
Another conflicting info is about the percentage of christians in UK- in the book it says 10% , in the hiren exam part of the choices were 8%-10% and 8%-11% it is the latter that was right.
Has anyone encountered this question in their actual exam? Which answer was accepted? If not, what info did you encounter about these specific questions or effects on the exam if laws were changed midway?
Thanks on any take on this. ~(This should have been under another post- under Life in the UK)
