Life in the UK test - Does it have an expiry?

Hi

I just did my wifes extension to stay in the uk for another 30 months. She needs a total of 120 months before can apply for permanent residency.

My question is current regulations for permanent stay is you have to do life in the uk test.

If we do life in the UK test now. In 10 years time will they accept it? or do they have an expiry date, like they need to be within 2 years of the application etc?

Also where do I find places that do life in the UK test? I live in South Yorkshire.

There will be a list of places when you book the test online.
