List of Forms for fresh Tier 1 General

Post by pkumar » Sat Oct 03, 2009 8:10 am

All,

I would appreciate if someone can confirm the list of forms that needs to be submitted in India (mumbai) for fresh Tier 1. Based on my assessment below are the forms

1> VAF9 (march 2009)
2> pbsappendix1 (Self-Assessment)

Any other forms? Also somewhere i heard we need to enter bank brach details..which form is that?

Thanks

Yes those are right.

pbsappendix1 (Self-Assessment) 4.11 Provide full contact details that will allow each of the documents provided to be verified if necessary. Please also provide here any additional information or explanation of the documentation provided, that will assist the Entry Clearance Officer in their consideration of the earnings being claimed.

Thanks

Appreciate your answer.

1> Is there anyother form they give when we go to submit in VFS. is there INTEGRA or Bio-metric form? ( if there is i just want to make sure i have all details as i m flying from UK and i might not have it handy if they require some specific information)

2> Is there any advantage of taking VFS-Premium service? Can someone accompany the primary applicant? Does the person who is accompanying has to wait outside the VFS? how long is wait? and does primium service can provide a lounge to accompanying person. Applying from India-Mumbai.

Thanks

No additional form, fingerprints they will take at VFS at the time of submission of your application.

I do not know about your place but where I applied only the applicants could enter, after security clearance, taking off cell phone, bags, etc. Only documents we could take in. If you have very well arranged application materials, and there is no other person waiting ahead of you, may be less than 30 minutes would be enough. Input of someone from Mumbai would be helpful for you, or browse this link for all information related to Mumbai VFS http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply ... pply/india

Thanks

Yes, it would be better to write these addresses (employer, bank branch) in cover letter, as space provided in Appendix is not enough. You must write these addresses in Appendix too, but as small as possible in the available space.

I think you should not attach inside appendix A, as it is official document, but cover letter is your personal one. Better put cover letter separately and do not disturb the arrangement of Appendix pages.
