Littering ticket effects on PSW

Post by iprabh88 » Mon Dec 06, 2021 10:38 am

Hi Team,

I have been given a littering ticket today for throwing a cigarette. I picked up the bud and throw it in the bin while I had the chat with the officer. He has given me a ticket but said I don’t need to pay it as I am on student VISA and not a permanent resident.

I am going to apply for my PSW next month and worried that if this will impact on my PSW in any way.

Any help will be really appreciated. Thanks.

Not in itself, but obviously you must declare it when asked.

You can check for yourself the effects on an immigration application of any criminal offenses.

See the General grounds for refusal
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... or-refusal

and the associated guidance for caseworkers about applying it:
