Long Absence as My Mother had CANCER and was on chemotheraph

Post by Janisblue » Fri Jan 08, 2010 4:01 am

Hi..

Thank you so much for reading this and I do appreciate if you can let me know your comments.

I am eligible to apply under HSMP JR now even though my visa will expire in Feb'2011.

Last December my mum diagnosed Cancer and I was away from April till December 2009. I also have another gap between Jan and April.

I am a Sole trader and as I was working from home in the UK, I was still able to work when I was in abroad and I got paid from my regular clients who are based in the UK.

When I was there, I have also set up a Brach of my 'company'..as I have a team there.

SHALL I tell these two reasons why I was away, OR shall I NOT tell anything about my mum (I have the doctor reports and tests about cancer:((

OR

Shall I just tell them that I was on a business trip. I can get some company letters which shows that I have worked for them even though I was away... and also completed some projects when I was away (Voice Over, subtitling, etc...)

PLEASE HELP! What shall I do?
