Long name - Not enough space on the application form

Hello Friends,

I am about to apply for HSMP.

I am facing one problem while filling the application form.

My name (as in passport) is very long - 31 characters.

But the space provided in the HSMP application ( payment slip - 1st page ) is only for 18 characters.

I hope, many Indians would have faced the same problem.

Please advice, how I can manage this.

try shorten your first name to 1 char and surname

some thing like Ragav Ramasamy as R Ramasamy etc.,
