Long Residence guidance wording

How about those who have applied before 8 July 2024 relying on the Guidance where it says 'As the 10-year period extend beyond 1 1 April, there is no 548-day limit' and the clear example on Page 33 of the Guidance? Their applications were put on hold and what would be the status now?

Refrain from tagging the query over other topics. Updates posted on other topics are intended for the original poster, it is not an invitation to everyone to jump in and hijack the thread. The guide mostly poorly worded the issue, leading to major confusion and an incorrect example. It should have been worded differently like that for the period of absences (not the 10 years) extending beyond 11 April 2024, the 548 rule does not apply.
