Long Term Resident ILR requirements & a Q about dependan

Post by randhawa_uk » Wed Oct 28, 2009 4:17 pm

Any idea what the Long Term Residency (10 years) requirements are?

2nd questions.

I have 3 dependants, a wife and 2 childern. My childern were born in the UK.
My wife joined me in the UK nearly 5 years ago. Would I be applying for my dependants' ILR along with my own LTR - ILR in few months time? Or do I apply first and hopefully when granted apply for my dependants as well.

See also Chapter 18 - Long residence (276A-276D) and SET(O).

Immediately after a parent is granted settlement/PR, their child (born in the UK) is entitled to register for British citizenship (Section 1(3)).
