Looooong Delay On Our Application

Post by Sheffield_Marketeer » Thu Jan 05, 2012 9:52 am

I am just so stressed because of the long delay on our Tier 2 + 1 Dependant application. Our biometrics were done on the 1st of December 2011 and original application made on 27th October 2011.

I did expect some delay bcos of Christmas and New Year hols but it does seem to be a massive a backlog for Tier 2 application results.

Tier 1 PSW applications are being decided much more quicker on the other hand. Is there any way at all that the HR department of my husband's company can find what's going on?

Any suggestions etc?

As per our timelines, we are well within the 14 weeks application status, so calling UKBA is not an option.

Get your HR dept to check for the status of your COS. Normally it reads as "Assigned" and if its turned "used" then your application is already processed. After my COS turned "used" I got my approval letter within days.

Good luck to you.

The HR has checked the status of the Cos and it says its been 'USED'. I am still stressing about what news we will hear eventually. Thanks for your help madona587.

Don't know how long it will take now :(

Thanks!
