I have a question related to my lost Brc replacement application which I applied in 4March 2020. Basically I am non eu extended family member of eu national and previously I have been granted brc last year but this year in January I went on holidays and lost Brc and then applied family permit to come back to Uk as instructed by home office.
And when I came back I didn’t know I can apply pre settled status with family permit so I applied Brc replacement application and on 4th may we received our passport back from home office.
Application posted on 4th March
Home office received. 5th March
Fee taken. 9th March
Fingerprints. 12th March
Coa with work 21st March
Passport returns. 04th April
So my questions are
1- how long does it take to complete lost Brc application which is quit similar to new application?
2- why home office returns passport first while application still pending and normally they send passport at the end?
3- can I apply for pre settled status with my family permit while my BRC application is pending because I have my passport with me now if yes then how because the app won’t let me do because asking Brc?
