Made it, Heathrow entry.

Hello folks,

First a big big thanks to this forum. It gave me confidence to apply by myself and secure my Tier 1 visa and finally I made it in last month.

I flew into Heathrow, nearly 18 months after obtaining my visa.

Although, I was prepared for questions such as why are you travelling so late ? etc., nothing around that was asked, just 1 question..do you have a job ? and I said Not yet, and that was it.

I was asked to go to the health check counter, where I showed my chest x-ray and report (which I was carrying in my hand luggage) and I was done in about 5 minutes. Back to the immigration counter and through.

A little bit of background, I have travelled to the UK in the past on 2 occasions (short stints for work) and 1 holiday.

So wish me luck on the job search !
