Maintainence funds of dependant

Post by krishna6693 » Sun Mar 14, 2010 2:37 am

Hi

I have received my Tier 1 Visa recently and am still in India. Now I need to apply for a dependant visa for my spouse.

My question is regarding Maintainence funds for dependant..

Since dependant should have 1600GBP; can I transfer the funds (used for my Tier 1 Visa) to my spouse Bank account, maintain for 3 months and apply a dependant visa for my spouse.

Or do I still need to show 2800 + 1600 GBP for 3 months for both of us while applying for dependant visa after 3 months.

Regards

You can show your account as well, no need transfer amount
Or do I still need to show 2800 + 1600 GBP for 3 months for both of us while applying for dependant visa after 3 months.
diferent people their own perception and experience , this has been discussed in couple of threads . please search in the forum.
latelty ,I have applied for my wife dependant visa , gave three months account statement of my own account with maintainence amount 2800+1600 waiting for BHC reply ( applied on 13th of march)
.

Best of luck for your visa..

The angle I am looking at is since I received the visa I will withdraw all my funds and maintain 1600 GBP in my spouse account..

It might sound silly but looking at the practicality...

Do I need to again provide my statement with 2800 GBP while applying for my spouse visa...
