Maintenance question

I have a question regarding maintenance fund for tier 1.

I am in UK from August 2006 but I had lived in India for 6 months from Sept 2009 – March 2010. I had gone back to India for 15 days again and returned on 7th April with my dependent. So my dependent is in UK with me from 7th April. We have applied for Tier 1 on 29th March 2011.

Please can someone confirm how much balance I should have shown for maintenance funds?

Am I considered being in UK for more or less than 12 months taking into account that I was in India for 6 months.

IMHO, you have been in the UK since 2006 (i.e. - for more than 12 months, in context).

I have shown 175000 from my indian bank account which should be fine as maintenance funds for main applicant and dependent.
