Maintenence of funds for UK Tier 1 general visa

hello,

I have a questions again and this time its related to the maintenence funds which we should show for last 3months bank balance to meet that requirements. My questions is can that funds be inform of Fixed deposits. Or should it be required to be in a checking or savings account ?

So per the above thread I should be able to use the FD for showing maintanence of funds by using the same format as it says in the thread correct ?

As long as its clear on the FD that the funds are liquid and can be withdrawn anytime, you are fine. Double check it clearly says this otherwise it is enough reason to reject application.
