marrying in the UK while on a family visa??

Hi guys,

Is it possible for someone to marry their cousin in the UK if they are here on a family visa???

u can if the cleric will do it (unlikely). Or u can apply for CoA to marry, unlucky there will be enough time before visa expires, CoA is NOT a visa.

Whatever happens the person in question would need to return to their country of origin - no switching from visit visas.

hi wanderer, what do you mean by the cleric?
Btw my cousin has a visa valid for 6 months and when they arrive here they will have apporximately 3 months left on the visa.
So if we apply for a certificate of approval while shes here would that be ok?? And what if she got her visa extended??

I don't think you can get married here on a visit visa. Your cousin should get a fiance visa from the British consulate and enter the UK on that.
