Post by netkrish80 » Tue Dec 09, 2008 1:18 pm

Hi,
I am planning to apply TIER 1 UK visa. i am having master's degree from IGNOU. Even though the course duration is 3 years i completed it in 6 years. is it ok if we take more number of years to complete it. I got the degree certificate also.

Please help me.

Couple of things,

1. Check in the Online eligibility form to see whether IGNOU's course is indeed considered over a 6 year period. If nothing comes out of that then
2. Apply for NARIC to find out whether they recognise the course.

I am pretty sure, it is the course's duration that matters not the time taken by you to complete it.

It is better to be safe than be sorry.
cheers
PG
